Changing Administrator Password

Introduction

AutoKB allows you to change the password that you use to access the control panel at any time. We recommdend changing your password at regular intervals to keep your control panel safe from intruders. A secure password should be used, and in general the most secure passwords are considered to be those that use a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols. This document will explain how you can change your control panel password.

Changing Your Password

To change your password, click on the Change Password link in the control panel menu. A page will be loaded where you can enter your current and new passwords. You will need to enter your current password, your new password, and then confirm your new password. Once you have entered all of the information as you want it, press the Change Password button. AutoKB will update your password and the next function that you access will prompt you to enter your username and new password.
